After School
At Arches Academy we strive to engage a student's learning and social interactions with a positive foundation from the moment they walk in our door until the time they leave our school. Our After School Enrichment program allows for students to continue their routine of learning and fun in a structured and familiar environment alongside their fellow peers. As a school we understand that each child is different and their needs are ranging. We enjoy providing extra opportunities after school for parents to help their child succeed and know that their student is cared for and encouraged, especially during the busy times of life. Students may attend for as little or as long as needed from 3:30pm - 6:00 pm. We accept students from any school/homeschool who require or need a little extra after school supervision.
Enrichment Activities
Each day students have the opportunity to finish their homework, research a project, etc. with the help of the After School Advisor. We engage the student's enjoyment of learning through weekly themed enrichment activities which include: Writer's Workshop, STEM Activities, Arts and Crafts, and Games and Sports. Students have the opportunity to be creative, think outside the box, and work alongside students from different classes to synergize and problem solve through the various activities.
After School Daily Schedule:
3:30pm - 4:00pm: Homework and Reading (also can include supervised research, reading, and educational apps on Ipads)
4:00pm - 4:15pm: Snacks and Freeplay
4:15pm - 6:00pm: Themed Activity for the day
